NASCAR Sprint Cup Series leader Kyle Busch did it again on SPICER Chassis this past weekend, earning victories in both the Nationwide Series race and Sprint Cup Series contests at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, IL.

Busch won Saturday’s LifeLock.com 400 by leading 165 of 267 laps. His dominant performance gave him his seventh Sprint Cup victory of the ’08 season. Taking the checkered flag didn’t come easy, as Busch, of the Joe Gibb’s Racing No. 18 M&M’s Toyota, had to make a bold move to the outside of Jimmie Johnson on the final restart.

With the victory, Busch expanded his Sprint Cup series points lead to a season-high 262 points over second-place Dale Earnhardt, Jr.

Busch’s weekend success actually began on Friday, when he won the Dollar General 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race. He led twice for a race-high 101 laps to complete his fifth series win of the season. This was the 13th Nationwide Series win of the season for JGR, tying the Nationwide Series record for most wins by a single organization.

“SPICER Chassis products have given JGR an edge in car setup, allowing us to fine tune the chassis to the needs of Kyle, Denny, Tony and Joey, and the superior performance and quality of the product has been demonstrated time and again for us,” said David Holden, Research and Development Engineer, Joe Gibbs Racing.

JGR began using SPICER Chassis products at the beginning of the 2007 racing season. Drivers like Busch rely on SPICER Chassis racing ball joints and tie rod ends that utilize the latest technology and offer lower friction and superior performance. The upper and lower ball joints are available in 1/2 inch short and 1/2 inch long specifications to provide flexibility from track to track.

SPICER Professional Grade chassis parts are manufactured by Affinia Under Vehicle Group of McHenry, IL, a global supplier of top quality automotive components for under vehicle applications.
