Precision Fleet Brakes announces it uses environmentally-friendly processing techniques to cryogenically treat its brake components to make them last up to four times longer than original equipment, resulting in increased vehicle uptime and cost savings. Precision’s vacuum insulated cryoprocessors were built for reliability and efficiency, and employ green technology to produce consistently superior quality brakes.

Cryogenic processing is a revolutionary way to treat rotors, achieving very low temperatures through the use of nitrogen, a natural element in the atmosphere. As a result, there are no harmful emissions or waste byproducts released into the environment.

“Since the inception of our company, we have focused on the importance of being green in our cryogenic processing,” said Zane McCarthy, president and CEO of Precision Fleet Brakes. “We believe it is important to go the extra mile to ensure that we are doing everything we can as a company to reduce our carbon footprint.”

Because of the vastly extended life of Precision Fleet Brakes’ cryogenically treated rotors, the environmental benefits do not stop at the processing stage.

“The longer life of our rotors positively impacts the environment, translating to less waste for our customers due to a reduction in the frequency of rotor replacement. In turn, reductions in shipping, downtime and labor provide added benefits to our customers,” concluded McCarthy.
