New Snap-on Shop Cart Triples Open Workspace

The new Snap-on KRSC430 40" Shop Cart has a sliding lid with two new drawers to offer three levels of multi-purpose use.

The new Snap-on KRSC430 40” Shop Cart has a sliding lid with two new drawers to offer three levels of multi-purpose use.

Say “so long” to flipping the lid to access tools and parts, and “hello” to a larger workspace and more accessibility. The KRSC430 allows techs to work from the lid, drawers and inside the top all at the same time.

“The sliding lid opens up to two utility drawers directly underneath that can be used to store and reach small parts, while still allowing access into the top compartment below for larger tools,” says Snap-on product manager Jay Serpe. “Anyone in a busy shop will tell you being able to work from the top, in the drawers and top compartment simultaneously makes getting the job done a lot easier.”

The KRSC430 lid comes in stainless steel or a bed liner coated surface. The lid moves independently on 120-lb. capacity ball bearing drawer slides, creating a durable cart with smooth operation for tough shop conditions.

Beneath the lid’s drawers, the 5” deep top compartment leaves plenty of room to organize deep sockets, store power tools and charge batteries. The KRSC430 is pre-punched for two types of Snap-on power strips that are optional add-ons. This cart is tool-organization-ready for add-ons such as a slotted side panel, locking pry bar rack and folding shelf. Other optional accessories include a top work mat, power tool rack, trays and storage hooks.

The cart comes in 10 standard finish combinations with other color and trim options available. Shot-molded rubber/nylon corner bumpers protect the cart and surroundings, making it durable and good-looking in the shop for decades to come.
