Atlas Copco Compressors hosted a company meet-and-greet with two-time National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Top Fuel World Champion Antron Brown in anticipation of the NHRA Carolina Nationals. The event was held yesterday at the company’s Rock Hill, South Carolina, headquarters.

Brown, a Top Fuel dragster driver for Don Schumacher Racing (DSR), holds 54 NHRA event titles. He signed autographs and offered photo opportunities alongside the car he will drive in the upcoming NHRA Carolina Nationals. The NHRA Carolina Nationals will take place at the zMAX Dragway from Sept. 16-18 in Concord, North Carolina. The race is part of the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, which concludes in November.

“We had a great time hosting Antron and showing him our support before the race tomorrow,” said Holly Boutot, marketing communications manager at Atlas Copco. “This was also a great opportunity to thank our Atlas Copco associates for their hard work and dedication to our company. It was a fun event for everyone.

Atlas Copco is the official compressed air technology partner of DSR. The first-time partnership was announced earlier this year. Atlas Copco provided DSR with a new GA 26 VSD+ air compressor system for its Brownsburg, Indiana, race shop, providing oil-free compressed air for maintenance and repair needs.
