Federal-Mogul Motorparts Takes #PartsMatter Campaign To The Next Level

The company has launched a new website and second edition of its auto safety sweepstakes, with more than $15,000 up for grabs in a social media photo and story contest.

shellbug425_twitter_02_480-1Federal-Mogul Motorparts, a division of Federal-Mogul Holdings Corp., has launched a new version of PartsMatter.com, the company’s online resource dedicated to automotive safety and reliability. In addition, the company has launched the latest edition of its interactive #PartsMatter Sweepstakes. This year’s sweepstakes includes more than $15,000 that will be distributed in weekly and monthly prizes. The sweepstakes and website are the latest offerings in the ongoing #PartsMatter public awareness campaign in the U.S. and Canada.

Now in its second year, the #PartsMatter Sweepstakes is officially open and entries will be accepted through Nov. 20, providing more chances to win than the 2015 edition of the sweepstakes. Consumers and professional automotive service technicians are invited to submit photos and stories of car part failures or vehicle problems with two hashtags: #PartsMatter and #Entry. Users also can enter directly at PartsMatter.com. The contest’s intent is to provide real-world illustrative testimonials of the potential hazards of low-quality automotive parts.

Each week, three entries will be awarded a $100 VISA gift card. Two grand prizes in the form of $500 VISA gift cards also will be selected monthly by a judging panel.

The new PartsMatter.com website will feature a continuous cadence of relevant articles, videos, infographics and other information that will help illustrate the various issues involved in automotive maintenance and safety.

“We believe it’s important to continuously help people make informed decisions about vehicle maintenance and safety,” said Jessica Wynn, global director of digital marketing, Federal-Mogul Motorparts. “Consumers and auto technicians have many choices of auto parts in the market today, some of which are designed and built to higher safety and quality standards than others. Similar parts from different manufacturers can make all the difference in vehicle reliability and safety. The #PartsMatter Campaign and Sweepstakes is designed to carry that message in an interactive way to consumers and technicians everywhere.

There is no cost or purchase necessary to enter the sweepstakes. Official rules, restrictions and additional information can be found by visiting PartsMatter.com.
