Genuine Ferodo OE-Quality Brake Pads Now Available In North America

Ferodo-Box-Pad-300x154Genuine Ferodo brake pads for European passenger vehicles are now available to North American service providers and consumers who demand the same superior control and braking precision specified by leading European vehicle manufacturers. Fitted as original equipment on eight of Europe’s top 10 best-selling passenger car models, Ferodo brake pads are manufactured by Federal-Mogul Motorparts, a division of Federal-Mogul Holdings Corp.

With more than 200 part numbers, the new offering of genuine Ferodo Premier pads covers 95 percent of European passenger vehicles in North America, including the approximately 15.4 million European models registered in the U.S. Each pad set includes the same advanced, OE-quality friction formulation and other features that have made Ferodo the predominant friction brand among leading European manufacturers, according to Federal-Mogul.

In high-speed testing performed by Federal-Mogul engineers in Europe, using European standards, Ferodo brake pads offered superior stopping power and outperformed the competition in benchmark tests for low noise, braking consistency, durability, and wet and dry braking, the company says.

“Many owners of European vehicles strongly prefer genuine, OE-quality replacement brake pads that provide the enhanced stopping and superior control they experienced when their vehicles were brand new. Now, those same OE-preferred pads are available directly from Europe through leading North American parts distributors,” said Christopher Battershell, director of brake product management, North America, Federal-Mogul Motorparts.

With more than 100 years of OE and aftermarket leadership, Ferodo is Europe’s No. 1 brand of friction products, according to Federal-Mogul.
