Greg Meckley from Meckley Parts and Service in Melbourne, Iowa, has won a 2015 pickup truck of his choice as the first of four grand prize winners in the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance’s “Big Game Tailgate Party” sweepstakes. Meckley is a loyal customer of Alliance member The Merrill Co. and its Marshalltown Arnold Motor Supply Store.

“I couldn’t believe it,” said Meckley upon learning he had won, “I never win anything.” He plans to equip and use the new truck as a tow vehicle to support his business. “This is neat,” he said.

Winners were allowed to select the make and model of their choice from any manufacturer of full-sized pickup trucks. Meckley chose a Ram 1500. Meckley’s name was drawn from more than 150,000 entries in the “Big Game Tailgate Party” sweepstakes. In addition to the pickup truck winners, more than 100 other lucky sweepstakes winners are attending the Big Game Tailgate Party in Glendale, Ariz. The private tailgate party starts the morning of the Big Game at a clubhouse just a short walk to the University Of Phoenix/Glendale Stadium, the site of the Big Game. There will be food, beverages and all kinds of fun and games … even a football celebrity or two. After the game, it’s a short walk back to rejoin the party where one lucky attendee will win the fourth and final truck to be given away.
