TRW Announces Range Extension For Premium Chassis Program

TRWTRW’s North American (NA) Aftermarket Group has introduced 101 new part numbers for its premium chassis program. This company said this move is in line with its business objective of continuous range improvement and supports TRW’s position as a leading global supplier of automotive safety parts and systems.

Mark Thorpe, sales and marketing director, TRW Aftermarket North America, explained: “After launching over 600 new part numbers in 2014, we already cover 94 percent of the North American car parc. With this latest news, we are setting the scene for an even more successful 2015 and will maintain our position as the partner of choice in this field.”

“TRW’s aftermarket business draws on its leading original equipment (OE) position to service the needs of the independent aftermarket in North America. In doing so, we are able to offer the highest-quality product, quickly and efficiently,” added Thorpe.

Providing coverage for an additional 48 million vehicles, the range extension consists of: three inner tie rods; one bellow; two bushings; six ball joints; two center rod assemblies; two tie rod assemblies; 34 control arms; 26 tie rod ends; 23 stabilizer links and two center links.

Building on its relationships with the vehicle manufacturers, TRW says the program is manufactured to exacting OE standards at its leading global manufacturing facilities. Major differentiators include the offer of low-friction plastic seat OE technology and the inclusion of all installation hardware and fitting instructions in the product box, saving the installer time and avoiding fitment error. The premium program is supported by the highest quality sales and marketing material and is backed by full technical and customer support, the company adds.
