PaceSetter Performance Products, designers and manufacturers of quality-made, affordably-priced exhaust systems and components, now offers a Direct-Fit Catalytic Converter for the 1995-’97 Nissan Altima with a 2.4L engine.

PaceSetter Direct-Fit Catalytic Converters utilize mandrel-bent stainless steel tubing for maximum efficiency and CNC-machined thick steel flanges for a factory-like fit and good seal. This ‘pot-cat’ catalytic converter, (#201022), is a direct replacement for the original equipment unit and has fittings for the factory heat shields. It is, however, not legal for use or sale in California.

Using EPA-approved catalytic converters for OBD II applications, PaceSetter created an extensive selection of OBD II applications for both foreign and domestic brand cars and light trucks – from Malibu to Camry and BMW to Escape.

Curing Shock, Strut and Suspension Noise

As vehicles age, eliminating noise is Job 1. But ‘noise’ may mean different things to you and your customers.

Shocks, struts and springs are the connection between sprung and un-sprung parts of the vehicle. The design is simple, with just a piston traveling in a cylinder full of oil to control the travel of the suspension and movement of the body during weight transfer. If the engineer gets it right, the valves in the piston and base of the shock or strut will be able to keep the tires in contact with the road and the body level under a wide variety of conditions. Unfortunately, the suspension can be damaged, and the shocks and struts will degrade. This can lead to handling issues and noise problems.

Pricing Alignments

Why ordering off the menu can hurt your shop and customers.

Toe Angles and Ride Height

Zero toe angle is present when both tires are parallel to the center thrustline.

High-End Ride Control Rehab

Electronically adjustable shocks and struts use conventional mono-tube and twin-tube oil-filled dampeners.

Toe Angles and Tie Rods

It is critical to remember that toe is not always zero or straight ahead.
