The Gates Corp. has announced the lineup of products and apps it will showcase at AAPEX, which takes place next week at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas. The company says it will showcase cutting-edge solutions in an innovation-themed booth, providing hands-on demonstrations of its new GC32TSi Crimper, the latest version of its PIC Gauge smartphone app and the eCrimp mobile app for iPhone and iPad devices, as well as product solutions from several of its key lines.

Gates GC32TSi Crimper equips operators with the necessary tools and information for crimping quality hose assemblies, including Gates eCrimp database, Internet access, a conversion calculator, service log, diagnostic and repair videos and documents. It also offers advanced functions like self-lubrication, measuring, machined die retention plates and a simple die loading system. Booth visitors will get a glimpse of the crimper in action, as Gates employees will demonstrate its capabilities live.

Gates also debut its newest version of PIC Gauge, which the company states is the first smartphone app to deliver accurate measurement and evaluation of serpentine belt wear. PIC Gauge 2.0 offers enhanced high-definition graphics for a smoother, more intuitive experience, according to Gates. It also includes Gates’ advanced targeting technology, which simplifies the process of belt image capture, a key component of the app, allowing for quick belt analysis and replacement recommendations.

AAPEX attendees also can interact with the new eCrimp mobile app at the Gates booth. Currently available for iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, and available soon for Android devices, the app helps users find the most up-to-date crimp specifications for Gates hydraulic hose products.

Gates will show several other new products from its synchronous belt drive system (SBDS), accessory belt drive system (ABDS), cooling system, turbocharger, hydraulics, heavy-duty, fuel lines, imports, displays/sales aids and powersports lines.

To see any of these products, visit Gates at AAPEX booth No. 4209 on level two of the Sands Expo and Convention Center from Nov. 5-7.
