The annual KOI Auto Parts-Federated Auto Parts Cavalcade of Customs and Training Expo held Jan. 11-13 in Cincinnati was a huge success with record-setting attendance and 550 KOI customers participating in over 100 training sessions.

“Our 53rd annual Cavalcade of Customs was a big hit with the general public as well as our service technician customers,” said Dave Wesselman, president of KOI Auto Parts. “We offered a little bit of everything from custom cars, hot rods and live music to an extensive line-up of training workshops for our customers.  We also held a student day that had participation from 10 Cincinnati-area schools.  We want to thank everyone who came out and enjoyed the show and look forward to an even bigger and better Cavalcade in 2014.”

As part of the Cavalcade of Customs, KOI offered 30 different types of training classes for a total of 106 sessions held during the three day event. The 550 KOI service technician customers attended a total of 1,234 training classes.

Fifty-two of Federated and KOI’s supplier partners set up booths for the show while KOI had five booths of its own, and the local ASA chapter also had a booth on site.  For the first time, KOI invited all shop owners and buyers to go through the vendor area and more than 170 owners/buyers took advantage of the opportunity.  On Thursday evening, the night before the Cavalcade opening, KOI hosted a supplier dinner which previewed the upcoming show and served as a thank you to the suppliers for their support of the show.

On Friday morning, before the show officially opened, KOI hosted a student day event for over 370 local vocational school students and their teachers. The students heard from various speakers in the industry and were able to tour the show before it opened to the public.
