Dorman Donates $100,000 To University Of The Aftermarket Foundation

The University of the Aftermarket Foundation has announced Dorman Products Inc. as a new lifetime trustee. The company recently contributed $100,000 to the foundation in order to help secure the future of the aftermarket through education.

The company recently contributed $100,000 to the foundation in order to help secure the future of the aftermarket through education. 

“As a ‘lifer’ in the aftermarket, I’m proud to have our company become part of an organization that is working to attract more ‘lifers’ to this great industry,” said Steve Berman, chairman and CEO of Dorman Products Inc. “Our board member Jack Creamer made a very compelling case for supporting the University of the Aftermarket Foundation. When we reviewed the list of trustees, we knew that these well-respected leaders would spend wisely, investing in the education of the next generation of leaders so our industry continues to grow and remain strong well into the future.”  

Jeff Darby, senior vice president of sales for Dorman, will serve as the company’s representative on the University of the Aftermarket Foundation board of trustees.

“On behalf of the University of the Aftermarket Foundation, I want to extend my sincere thanks to Steve and everyone at Dorman for their generous donation,” said John Washbish, secretary of the University of the Aftermarket Foundation. “We welcome Dorman as a lifetime trustee and appreciate their active support of the foundation’s efforts to educate and attract talent to the aftermarket.”
