SRI Quality System Registrar of Pittsburgh, Pa., awarded an ISO/TS 16949 management system certificate to Stant USA Corporation, located in Romeo, Mich., for design and manufacture of fabricated tubing, air bag guides and fuel filler assemblies.

“SRI is pleased to acknowledge that Stant USA Corporation has demonstrated effective implementation of a management system that satisfies the tough auto standard: ISO/TS 16949”, states Christopher H. Lake, president & COO of SRI. “Their certification shows their automotive customers worldwide that Stant USA Corporation is committed to being recognized as a long term supplier of quality goods and services.”

ISO/TS 16949:2009 is an international management system automotive "sector-specific" technical specification based on ISO 9001:2008 and several other international automotive requirements.
