2014 AVI Sanibel Training Conference Hits The Mark

Automotive Video Innovations's (AVI) 19th annual Sanibel Training Conference, held Feb. 6-9 at the Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort, has become the annual gathering place for shop owners, techs, trainers and industry leaders who are serious about training, and who also enjoy the camaraderie of industry friends.

Automotive Video Innovations’s (AVI) 19th annual Sanibel Training Conference, held Feb. 6-9 at the Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort, has become the annual gathering place for shop owners, techs, trainers and industry leaders who are serious about training, and who also enjoy the camaraderie of industry friends.

“The AVI Conference should be in the Guinness Book of World Records,” said Ron Bilyeu, a longtime educator, repair shop owner and performance-tuning guru. “There is no other conference that attracts so many industry masters in one place.”

Attendees know first-hand that the AVI Conference is a unique experience. There you’ll find cutting-edge training presented by expert trainers, who also take the time to answer attendees’ questions, and technicians who ask peers about impossible diagnostic issues they’ve encountered, in search of new answers.

Whether you’re walking out of Wally Mouradian’s intense Powerstroke Diagnostics course, or laughing hysterically as Becky Witt flings nostalgic cream-filled pastries across the room in her Service Writer Survival class, you’ll know you’ve experienced something different.

The technical forum is complemented by informal gatherings where industry acquaintances share stories and best practices during mealtime, and newcomers can jump right in. And, despite how much the Sanibel Conference has grown in recent years, that welcoming “family atmosphere” is always evident.

The 2015 conference will be held Jan. 22-25, 2015, at the Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort.
