ASA Establishes New Partnership With Advance Auto Parts

As part of this new partnership, ASA member shops that have combined purchases from Advance Auto Parts and CARQUEST Auto Parts are eligible for national account pricing, business development fund rebates and training content.

The Automotive Service Association (ASA) has joined forces with Advance Auto Parts as its latest Sponsored Benefit Provider.

ASA-LogoAdvance Auto Parts has more than 5,000 company-operated stores, serves more than 1,300 independently owned CARQUEST locations across North America and has more than 40 distribution centers that replenish inventory up to five times a week.

As part of this new partnership, ASA member shops that have combined purchases from Advance Auto Parts and CARQUEST Auto Parts are eligible for national account pricing, business development fund rebates and training content, as well as additional services from Advance. Member shops also can receive rebate incentives on qualified purchases (based on their average quarterly spend) to reinvest in their businesses. Additional rebates are available when member shops make purchases online.

“Advance is proud to partner with ASA to offer independent shops access to more quality parts and trusted services,” said Todd Sanders, Advance’s vice president, strategic accounts. “Our job is to make sure shops receive the support they need – whether that is access to training, parts replenishment programs, marketing expertise or more – when and where they need it. We look forward to working with ASA to help shops across North America grow their businesses.”

A key advantage of this new program with Advance includes access to the technical training from CARQUEST Technical Institute, which offers instructor-led classroom courses, as well as online training for shop owners and technicians at ctionline.com. Additional benefits for ASA member shops include, but are not limited to, access to On Hand Advantage, a parts replenishment program that allows shops of any size to customize and optimize their parts stock with the parts their shop uses most frequently; ProRewards, a customer loyalty program; and more.

Tony Molla, ASA vice president, said, “One of the most important values ASA delivers to our members are the relationships with our Sponsored Benefit Providers, and we are pleased and proud to welcome Advance Auto Parts into our benefits program. The training, business management and networking opportunities offered by Advance complement the ASA mission of providing the right tools for our members to grow and prosper in today’s competitive automotive service and collision repair industries.”
