The Alliance Announces Newly Selected Service Center Advisory Council Members; Council Attends Annual Retreat

Members of the council act as a representative voice of all Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper customers in business matters related to service centers.

scacThe Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance says it is proud to be “customer-centric” – driving business around the needs and expectations of its service center customers. Central to that focus is the Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper Service Center Advisory Council, a collection of North America’s top tier shop owners who are appointed to advise the Alliance on business matters critical to shop owners.

The Alliance says being appointed to the Service Center Advisory Council is not just recognition for being an impressive shop. Members of the council are asked to attend meetings and to consider industry trends and how the repair business will be impacted by those trends. In addition, they provide input and guidance to review and develop any new programs related to Certified Service Centers and provide direction to the Alliance Sales and Marketing Committee and Alliance headquarters’ staff.

Members of the council act as a representative voice of all Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper customers in business matters related to service centers.

The five shops chosen this year to be added to the Service Center Advisory Council are:

• Ross Colket (Colket Automotive Technical Services, Landsdale, Pennsylvania)
• William Nalu (Interstate Auto Care, Madison Heights, Michigan)
• Alain Robert (Ste Agathe Service Centre, Ste-Agathe, Quebec, Canada)
• Justin Barrett (Barrett Automotive, Cornelia, Georgia)
• Brett Bohlman (Highway 7 Service Center, Newell, Iowa)

The Service Center Advisory Council consists of 10 active members. Each member of the council serves a two-year term with a new five members being selected every year. The council’s annual retreat is currently underway in Colmar, Pennsylvania. The meeting is being hosted by Dorman at its headquarters in Colmar. The council attends a three-day, face-to-face session where they advise on essentials to shop owner success. The meeting will include a tour of Dorman headquarters. Entertainment includes receptions, dinners and group activities.
