ContiTech’s Power Transmission Group has developed a new interactive online catalog that gives installers, jobbers and distributors the capability of selecting multi-rib belts, timing belts or raw edge belts for a variety of applications right from the service bay or wherever they have Internet access.

“This gives our customers the ability to offer their customers a service that costs them nothing,” said Roger Homer, director of business development for ContiTech’s North America Power Transmission Group. “A great deal of the challenge in the automotive aftermarket is service and speed. This new interactive online catalog gives the user links to many products for most vehicles, including all the new 2008 models, and it accomplishes the mission almost instantaneously.”

Access to the site (www.contitech.de) is easy and all one has to do is to follow the prompts via >Product Info > Branches > Automotive Aftermarket > Online Catalogue (Power Transmission Group).

“This is another excellent example of the commitment that ContiTech has to its customers and their clients,” said Homer. “This is an invaluable tool for everyone involved in the automotive aftermarket supply chain.”

ContiTech Power Transmission Group, a business unit of the ContiTech Division of Continental AG, develops and manufactures a wide range of drive systems for the automotive original equipment and replacement markets, appliance and industrial equipment industries. The belts are available through ContiTech’s normal North American distribution chain. For additional information, visit the ContiTech website at www.contitech-usa.com.
