"Clevite is proud to be the sponsor of these exciting events, and will award $1,000 cash or equivalent amount of ring and bearing product to the fastest driver in each of the five events held at Milan, Tulsa, Martin, Mansfield and New Hampshire race tracks. This is yet another instance of our long-standing support for all kinds of motorsports," said Bill McKnight, director of Brand Development for Clevite.

Clevite is also the official engine bearing, piston ring and gasket of NASCAR.

Headquartered in Norwalk, OH, IHRA, a division of Live Nation, promotes professional, semi-professional and local level drag racing opportunities for drivers at all levels.

"Clevite’s sponsorship of IHRA Nitro races gives a real boost to the drivers and teams that compete in these events, and we are confident that Clevite’s sponsorship and the rewards it brings to racers will lead to greater competition and interest in IHRA events. Clevite is certainly welcome aboard," said Tom DuPree, director of Contingency and Official Products, for IHRA.
