Bar’s Leaks, Rislone Sponsor Annual Houston Art Car Parade

BarsLogo-300x136Bar’s Leaks and Rislone, brands under the Bar’s Products portfolio, have announced they will sponsor the upcoming Houston Art Car Parade on April 11. The three-day event, powered by the Orange Show, is the largest art car parade in the world with more than 300,000 attendees each year.

The Houston Art Car Parade is an event that allows participants from all over the country, local community groups, public and private schools and professional organizations to enter mobile works of art for a chance to win more than $20,000 in cash prizes. The parade attracts more than 250 decorated vehicles from 23 states, along with Canada and Mexico.

rislonelogo-300x257Bar’s Products says its sponsorship of the event is part of its ongoing commitment to the DIY and auto enthusiast community. CarrieMermuys-Ventura, chief operating officer for the Bar’s Products family of brands, explains, “We are very excited to be sponsoring this event as it is the perfect blend of our two passions: the DIY movement and the automotive world. We want to show our support for these communities being that our products are made specifically for DIY enthusiasts. Not to mention, these decorated vehicles take automotive creativity to another level, something we are proud to support.”

The Bar’s Leaks and Rislone tents will be located along the parade route, near the VIPit area. They will host onsite engagement activities for event attendees, including carnival-type games and origami challenges. Those who participate will have a chance to win Bar’s Leaks or Rislone products, t-shirts, hats and temporary tattoos.

The brand spokespeople, Bobby Janiec and Caitlin Burt, will also be attending the event and will be seen riding one of the decorated vehicles along the parade.
