Consumers can save up to $60 and professional technicians can earn similar cash rewards this spring when purchasing qualifying Walker mufflers, welded exhaust assemblies and catalytic converters through two new promotions from Tenneco Inc.

From April 1 through May 31, the “2011 Walker Experience” promotion offers consumers up to a $60 mail-in rebate for the purchase of qualifying Walker products. To qualify for the $60 mail-in rebate, consumers must purchase one Walker Quiet-Flow SS muffler or welded assembly and a Walker direct-fit converter or CalCat converter. Consumers are eligible for a $30 mail-in rebate if only one Walker Quiet-Flow SS muffler, welded assembly, direct-fit converter or CalCat converter is purchased. Offer details can be found on www.walkerexhaust.com.

Tenneco also is offering exclusive cash rewards to professional technicians enrolled in the 2010 and 2011 Expert Plus program through its multi-brand “Ca$h In” scorecard promotion. Expert Plus technicians can qualify for up to $120 when selling combinations of qualifying Walker and DynoMax exhaust and Monroe ride control products between April 1 and May 31.

“These promotions are great opportunities for consumers and technicians to save money when replacing worn emissions control components, especially after such a harsh winter,” said Sheryl Bomia, North American programs manager, Tenneco.
