Troy Ladd, and his highly acclaimed and award winning Raybestos ‘32 Roadster Pickup, will be at this weekend’s Meguiar’s Autorama Presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts at the Cobo Center in Detroit, February 25-27, 2011.
The Raybestos Roadster Pickup has been called the ultimate parts hauler and shop truck. Its design was directly inspired by vintage Indy roadster open wheel racecars of the late 1950s and early 1960s.
The Raybestos Raybestos ‘32 Roadster Pickup can be seen at the Ford booth. Troy will be available each day for autographs at the following meet and greet sessions:
• Friday, Feb 25: 8:30 pm – 9:30 pm
• Saturday, Feb 26: 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
• Sunday, Feb 27: 11:00 am – 1:00 pm and 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm
As part of a Raybestos national promotion, the winner of the Raybestos ‘32 Roadster Pickup was announced earlier this year. During the sweepstakes, a new interactive website, RaybestosGarage.com, offered a behind-the-scenes view of the entire build process.
In addition, Kevin Tully of Hot Rod Chassis & Cycle (the builder of this year’s Raybestos ‘64 GTO-R giveaway car) will also be at the Detroit Autorama with one of his custom truck creations… a ‘55 GMC Series 2 pickup… at the Motorama section of the show. As part of the 2011 Raybestos brand brakes Muscle Car Giveaway Promotion, the ’64 GTO-R will be a one-of-a-kind interpretation of the iconic muscle car.
