AutoTex Pink, the windshield wiper blade that is working to "Wipe Out Breast Cancer," is now AskPatty.com Certified Female Friendly. The wipers, which come in a standard black color with a small pink ribbon promoting the cause of breast cancer awareness and research, are one of the first products to bear the Certified Female Friendly designation, according to the company.

The agreement enables AskPatty.com Certified Friendly service locations to use AutoTex Pink products for use either as an inventory item or as a promotional tool.

The wiper blades are available in metal or frameless, fit more than 98% of vehicles on the road, meet or exceed SAE specifications, and can be installed in as little as five minutes, the company said.

Sales of AutoTex Pink blades generate donations to the National Breast Cancer Foundation or the Breast Cancer Society of Canada.

The partnership between the companies includes MyAutoTexPink.com, a website that provides women’s health care and automotive advice. “There is a natural synergy for MyAutoTexPink.com and AskPatty.com to partner as both work to educate women about their vehicles,” said Paula Lombard, Wexco president and co-founder of AutoTex Pink. “We plan to work together to provide women with the information they need to better take care of their vehicles.”
