The store got is name because Henry Levine’s in-laws had a sign he could use – the one from the former Midway Theater in Dallas. Fifty years later, that name, Midway Auto Supply, is synonymous with first class customer service in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area when it comes to auto parts. On July 31, Midway Auto Supply celebrated its 50th anniversary party with its customers.

“We want to thank all of our customers who attended our anniversary celebration,” said Martin Levine, president of Midway Auto Supply.  “We had a great day and wonderful turnout. We also want to thank our great employees whose dedication and commitment to excellence has allowed us to be a success for the last 50 years. Midway Auto Supply is known for not telling our customers ‘no’ and providing them solutions to their problems. We have that reputation because of the hard work of our employees.”

Henry Levine started the business in 1960, but died two years later. His sons Martin and Steve took over and, with the help of the entire family, turned it into one of Dallas-Ft. Worth’s leading auto parts suppliers with three locations. Three generations of Levines now operate the business. Besides Martin and Steve, Martin’s son Herb is the manager of one of the stores, his brother Larry is in charge of ordering and finances, and their sister Helen runs Midway’s internet business while three grandchildren also work part-time.

“We want to congratulate the entire Levine family on their 50th anniversary,” said Phil Moore, senior vice president for Federated. “Midway is known for its exceptional customer service and everyone at Federated is truly honored to be associated with the Levine family. We wish them another 50 years of great success.”
