MICPlus is the innovative interactive CD catalog from Mighty. It gives technicians a lot more time under the hood and a lot less time looking for data. Since its initial release in 2002, MIC (Mighty Interactive Catalog) has been providing technicians and shop owners with instant access to valuable application information, installation instructions and specification data. And now, with a click of the mouse, Mighty’s MICPlus provides the “plus” of instant access to vehicle fluid capacities and precise schedules for OEM preventive maintenance.

How does it work? Simply look up the year, make and model of the vehicle, followed by the product selection. The Preventive Maintenance and Fluid Capacity buttons become highlighted. Click the appropriate button depending on what you want to know, and in the blink of an eye, the OEM-recommended PM schedules or fluid capacities will appear on the screen.

Comments from techs and managers include: “Awesome” … ”Better than ever” … “It’s good as gold.”

Toe Angles and Ride Height

Zero toe angle is present when both tires are parallel to the center thrustline.

How can a mysterious case of tire wear occur in a perfectly aligned vehicle? It happens and the answers aren’t always simple. To better explain, let’s go back a few decades when I aligned a 1983 Mitsubishi RWD pickup, only to have it return a month later with a tire scuffing complaint. Although the outside edge of the right front tire showed evidence of toe-related wear, the current toe angle was 0.100 inches, which is within the Mitsubishi’s +0.080” to +0.350“ specification.
