New Snap-on 18 Volt USB Power Unit: Multiple Ports Keep Products And Devices Charged And Ready To Go

Snap-onDesigned for space-saving power management, the new Snap-on CTUSB8850 18 Volt USB Power Unit keeps smaller devices charged, within reach and working as long as it takes to get the job done. This go-to charger easily mounts to Snap-on’s 18 Volt Lithium battery, popular on power tools, including impact wrenches, drills and reciprocating saws.

“The CTUSB8850 is just what technicians need to keep smaller devices and products charged. It’s compact and compatible with the same rechargeable battery included with many of Snap-on’s power tools,” says Rodger Isetts, product manager for Snap-on. “In many shops, charging stations and outlets are hard to come by, so this product allows technicians to use the power they already have to get the boost they need to keep working.”

Equipped with a ratcheting mountable USB head, the CTUSB8850 has four ports to simultaneously charge products. The five-volt power output features 0.5A (two), 1A and 2A specifications for various cord types. Whether it’s a cell phone or diagnostic tool, this product provides an easy to access source of power and can be placed anywhere in the work area.

“The CTUSB8850 provides one-hour run time and features a LED indicator for charge status. Each port has a protective sliding door to keep out debris when not in use, which is a simple benefit designed to extend product life,” says Isetts.
