Federated Auto Parts 400 Set For Sept. 12

FederatedThe Federated Auto Parts 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Richmond International Raceway (RIR), also known as the “One Last Race to Make the Chase,” is set for Saturday, Sept. 12 at 7:30 p.m. EST and will be televised nationally by the NBC Sports Network.

“The Federated 400 is not only a pivotal race for NASCAR fans, but the race weekend has become a must-attend event for our members and suppliers,” said J.R. Bishop, director of motorsports and event marketing for Federated Auto Parts. “Many of them conduct promotional contests, bringing customers to the race, and the vendor expo held at the track on race day is a popular event. This year’s Federated 400 promises to be another fun-filled weekend of racing and hospitality.”

As part of the race weekend activities, Federated spokesperson and NASCAR legend Kenny Schrader will be on hand to meet and mingle with the Federated guests. Schrader will also conduct a driving experience at RIR the day after the race for some lucky Federated contest winners.

“The long-standing partnership between RIR and Federated Auto Parts only grows stronger over the years,” said Dennis Bickmeier, president of Richmond International Raceway. “From their large on-site activation on race weekend to being the entitlement partner of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series ‘Last Race to Make the Chase,’ Federated Auto Parts is one of the best partners in all of NASCAR. Fans and industry members alike can’t miss the famed orange and blue when members and customers enjoy all that the race weekend has to offer. RIR is proud to partner with them, and we look forward to what the future holds.”

During last year’s Federated 400 race weekend, over 2,000 Federated members, customers and vendor partners watched Brad Keselowski win the Federated 400 and secure the No. 1 seed for the “Chase.”
