TechSmart Adds 44 New Premium Parts To Its Growing Line Of Engine Control Products

Standard Motor Products, Inc. (SMP) announces its second TechSmart line expansion for 2013. TechSmart has added 44 new premium parts to its growing line of engine control products, covering more than 60 million vehicle applications.

Standard Motor Products, Inc. (SMP) announces its second TechSmart line expansion for 2013. TechSmart has added 44 new premium parts to its growing line of engine control products, covering more than 60 million vehicle applications.

This latest product release features line extensions to several key categories including OE matching keyless entry transmitters, VVT solenoids for Ford and Hyundai, plus two complete distributor assemblies for GM 5.0/5.7L V8s and 4.3L V6s. The TechSmart distributors, manufactured in SMP’s Greenville, S.C. plant, include a high-dielectric strength cap, improved gear design for enhanced performance in high-torque applications and stainless steel anti-corrosion screws.
