Centric Parts Announces Changes To StopTech And Power Slot Sport Rotor Program

Centric Parts has announced a name change in its performance product lineup for 2013. In an effort to streamline its performance product range, the former Power Slot and SportStop direct-replacement one-piece rotors will now be known instead as StopTech Sport Rotors.

Centric Parts has announced a name change in its performance product lineup for 2013. In an effort to streamline its performance product range, the former Power Slot and SportStop direct-replacement one-piece rotors will now be known instead as StopTech Sport Rotors.

The change is effective immediately, but in no way affects orders, Centric said. The company will continue to use the same product numbering that is shown in existing catalogs and online databases. The 126, 127 and 128 prefixes will be retained for the range of slotted, drilled+slotted and drilled performance upgrade rotors, respectively.

“While continuing to represent the absolute best aftermarket performance upgrade rotor options around, the new ‘StopTech Sport Rotors’ name more easily identifies their function, and more closely aligns them with the company’s other performance upgrade products,” said Mark Cornwell, vice president, performance sales. “This includes the StopTech Sport Kits, which feature the StopTech Sport Rotors, StopTech braided stainless steel brake lines and StopTech Street Performance pads.”

StopTech Sport Rotors are direct replacement discs for factory brake systems and stock calipers. All kits, as well as the complete line of StopTech braking systems and components, are available through motorsports distributors and performance automotive aftermarket retailers today.
