The 2013 Bulldog Digital/Social PR Awards recognize the most outstanding achievements in corporate communications and publicity using online and social media tools and techniques. They celebrate digital/social PR strategic and tactical prowess at the highest level. The Bulldog Digital/Social Awards are among the only digital PR awards judged exclusively by digital- and social media-focused journalists and bloggers.

The Bendix Brakes for Teen Safety campaign is aimed at educating parents and teens on safe driving and vehicle care by emphasizing the need for proper and timely vehicle maintenance. Through consumer research and the use of digital storytelling, the campaign creates a connection for consumers between Honeywell Friction Materials, the Bendix brand and driving safely.

“The Bendix Brakes for Teen Safety program was designed to educate and reinforce safe driving as well as encourage consumers to consult professional technician shops to have work done,” said Jim Kelley, director of sales for the Americas, Honeywell Friction Materials. “Being recognized by the Bulldog Reporter for outstanding achievement in digital and social communications is validation of our efforts to deliver an important message to consumers in new ways.”
