ZF Aftermarket Technical Training Team Brings Advanced Education To 2018 Industry Week


ZF Aftermarket will host a variety of technical training sessions at AAPEX 2018, taking place Oct. 30 through Nov. 1 in Las Vegas. Training sessions will cover topics such as modern driving dynamics and the basics of ZF transmission technology. Over the course of the week, ZF technical trainings will occur at ZF Aftermarket booth No. 5062, the Mobility Garage booth No. 58005 and the AAPEX Let’s Tech stage.

Technical Excellence

The ZF Aftermarket Technical Training team will host more than 20 technical training sessions throughout Industry Week, including one session on the AAPEX’s Let’s Tech stage. At 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31, ZF Aftermarket Technical Training Manager, Dirk Fuchs, will present “Radar Sensors in Modern Chassis Systems.” This presentation will discuss how to identify different driver assist functions and their operations, while also being able to describe functions and impact of radar and camera systems.

“AAPEX is a unique opportunity for us, as technical trainers,” said Fuchs. “It gives us a chance to meet face-to-face with so many more customers, technicians, shop owners and industry professionals than any other show.”

ZF Aftermarket also will be present at the Powertrain Expo, hosted by ATRA at Bally’s, Oct. 31 through Nov. 3. “Mechatronic Technology” will be taught as a technical training seminar by ZF trainers Dirk Fuchs and Francisco Moreno at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 2. ZF Aftermarket will be present at Booth No. 201 during the Powertrain Expo.
