WORLDPAC is seeking career minded candidates with automotive parts knowledge and/or counter sales experience interested in joining a fast paced, growing company in an entry level Auto Parts Sales Representative role. This position is primarily responsible for providing outstanding customer service to our core customer base and assisting over 100 commissioned auto parts professionals with achieving growth objectives.
 
• Assists commissioned department by providing outstanding customer service.
• Periodically covers the customer desk of absent or unavailable fully commissioned sales teammates.
• Secures and places orders for processing.
• Handles a high volume of inbound customer telephone sales calls.
• Prepares order quotes and processing. Calls prospective customers to explain service or product offered.
• Achieves assigned performance goals and objectives set by management.
 
Required Skills:
• Knowledge of automotive parts and automotive systems; including factory automotive CAD diagrams.
• Telephone and/or customer service experience a plus.
• Uses analytical and problem solving skills.
• Proficiency in data entry, including speed and accuracy.
• Remains goal oriented with continuous drive to succeed.
• Bilingual skills a plus • Microsoft Windows/ E-Catalog environment
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write clear and grammatical reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Works with minimal supervision.
 
Key Aspects:
• No retail over the counter parts selling-strictly business to business selling only.
• Auto Parts Sales Representative – 90% of telephone activity are specific customers calling in to place an order for multiple same day local delivery.
• All professional multistate territory selling is conducted indoors through one of our regional sales offices located throughout several parts of the country.
 
Fort Lauderdale FL; Los Angeles CA; San Francisco CA; Long Island New York; Dallas Texas; South Brunswick, New Jersey.
 
• WORLDPAC offers a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health, dental, life insurance, salary continuance in the event of disability, 401(k) retirement plan, paid holiday and Paid Time Off plans.
• Salary range starts around $32,000/year or more depending on experience.
• Worldpac does not provide relocation.
