Wells Manufacturing, L.P. has been named “Preferred Vendor” by Automotive Parts Associates, Inc. (APA), a member-owned cooperative of more than 100 leading replacement parts distributors throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Wells, the manufacturer of Wells Vehicle Electronics and Airtex Engine Management products, had been an “Approved Vendor” for the distribution network. The company achieved Preferred status based on a variety of performance factors, including product quality, brand recognition, shipping performance, marketing programs and technical support.

“Wells is a highly respected supplier and a noted innovator in the engine management category,” said APA President and CEO Dan Freeman. “Our members and their customers have been very pleased with the quality of Wells products and the breadth of their technical support capabilities.”

Dozens of APA members currently sell a broad range of Wells products, including ignition, fuel system, emissions and starting/charging system components as well as sensors, switches, relays and other parts. Members and their customers also rely on Wells’ toll-free technical support hotline, staffed by ASE-certified professional technicians, and Web-based instructional videos and interactive research tools.

“As a member-owned organization, APA maintains an intense focus on growing its business and the loyalty of its customers with the support of the industry’s best manufacturers, brands and products. We are very proud to have earned our place among the premier suppliers partnering with this very successful organization,” said Bill Nonnamaker, vice president, sales and marketing, Wells Manufacturing.
