TRICO Featured on Car Care Promotion with Lauren Fix

TRICO Force wiper blades were featured on a car care promotion hosted by the Car Coach Lauren Fix to more than nine million viewers and listeners as a key item that improves visibility and driver control.

The segment aired on hundreds of broadcasts and syndicates in major markets across the United States including Los Angeles, New York and Boston and was heard as part of several radio programs that highlighted the importance of proper car maintenance throughout the year.

TRICO Force is a high-performance, robustly engineered beam blade with a patented swept-wing spoiler. This feature harnesses and stabilizes winds caused by traffic turbulence and converts it into a wiper-meets-glass down force that allows the blades to easily clear away weather elements. With a strong superstructure for durable all-weather performance, this blade delivers a clean wipe and excellent visibility in any driving situation, says the company.

“One of the major issues most people have with windshield wipers is that their blades don’t always maintain contact with the windshield for an even wipe,” explained Fix. “TRICO offers a VorTec aerofoil that eliminates windlift and chatter as well as HighGlide treated rubber for a smoother, quieter wipe. Since 80% of all driving decisions are based on visibility, it is important to choose the right blade to maintain a clear view in any extreme weather condition.”

As the Car Coach, Lauren Fix is the nationally recognized automotive expert for Time Warner Cable, The Weather Channel, and QVC, a columnist for AOL Autos, the Auto Blog, and the Buffalo News Car Fix column as well as the author of three books.  She has made appearances on several major broadcasts including Oprah, The View and TODAY, has been quoted in countless magazines and newspapers, and won several awards for her dedication to the industry.
