TMD Friction Announces 2017 Training Dates

During the brake training, attendants will acquire relevant knowledge about the field, covering topics including friction materials and production processing.


TMD Friction, a provider of OE braking technology, has announced the dates of its 2017 brake training classes. The company says that feedback from those who have taken the one-day class has been positive, and that its offering is unique from other classes provided in the industry.

Training class dates for 2017 are:

  • April 5
  • July 19

During this brake training, attendants will acquire relevant knowledge about the field, including:

  • Friction materials: formulation, evaluation, testing and certification of brake linings and disc pads
  • Production processing
  • Drum and disc brake materials: theory, function, air system components and fleet spec’ing to optimize the material for the application
  • Reduce stopping distance materials: first brake reline, common myths

Light breakfast, lunch and training materials also are included.
