The Timken Company is joining ExtremeWrench (www.extremewrench.com) to offer independent repair shops a rewards program on the purchase of Timken light-duty wheel bearing assemblies, bearings and seals. Participating repair shops register and submit purchase data with ExtremeWrench to earn points redeemable for rewards such as trips, merchandise, technical training and other prizes ranging from television to business-management tools.

"By joining forces with an industry leader such as ExtremeWrench, we can reward participating repair shops for recognizing the value of our premium products. We know the most important thing to these shops is the customer satisfaction they win with products that help them  do the job right the first time," said Tom Tecklenburg, director of automotive aftermarket for The Timken Company. "The ExtremeWrench program provides an opportunity to reward technicians for their loyalty to the Timken brand and also helps us to further differentiate ourselves in the marketplace."

After registering for the program, participating repair shops receive access to online scheduling tools, customer management programs and other helpful business applications courtesy of ExtremeWrench. Registered repair shop owners then submit UPC information on their qualifying purchases to accumulate points toward a variety of rewards from ExtremeWrench and its partners.
