Service technicians are challenged every day with jobs that require them to work in tight spaces. Snap-on offers durable, innovative tools that provide superior access to solve these daily challenges, said the company. One such tool is the new Snap-on 3/8-inch drive, 3-1/8 inch T40 Bit Socket (S6340E), the ideal tool for servicing injectors on a Ford 6.0 Liter Power Stroke Diesel Engine.

Job/Challenge: Remove and install hold down fasteners on Ford 6.0L Power Stroke Diesel Engine. A regular length T40 bit socket is too short and a long T40 bit socket is too long when used with a ratchet or torque wrench and will not fit the application.

Solution: The S6340E has a perfect length of 3-1/8 inches and is specially made for the removal and reassembly of Ford Power Stroke 6.0L diesel injectors.

“Our customers asked for a specialty tool to efficiently remove and install injector hold down fasteners on Ford diesel engines, and we have delivered with the S6340E. This T40 bit socket is designed with a precise fit and tight tolerance to prevent slippage and disengagement, so service technicians can save time and be more productive,” said Scott Amundson, product manager for Snap-on.

Customers can learn more about the new Snap-on 3/8-inch drive, 3-1/8 inch T40 Bit Socket (S6340E) by contacting their participating Snap-on franchisee or representative, visiting www.snapon.com/handools or by calling toll free 877-SNAPON-4 (877-762-7664).
