Makita has released three new 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Brushless High Torque Impact Wrenches: the 3/4” Square Drive (XWT07M/Z), 1/2” Square Drive (XWT08M/Z) and 7/16” Hex Chuck (XWT09T/Z). Each of the tools features an electronic three-speed power selection that gives users precise fastening control for a range of applications. The efficient Makita brushless motor in each tool is engineered for longer run time, increased power and speed, and longer tool life.
Additional features include all-metal gear housing with rubber overmold, rubberized soft grip, built-in dual LED lights and less weight (only 8.1, 7.9 and 8.1 lbs. with battery, respectively).
XWT07M/Z: 18V 3/4” Impact Wrench
The Makita 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Brushless High Torque 3/4″ Square Drive Impact Wrench includes a 3/4” anvil with friction ring and thru hole retention system for maximum productivity. The XWT07M/Z delivers a full 780 ft.-lbs. fastening torque and 1,250 ft.-lbs. breakaway torque.
XWT08M/Z: 18V 1/2” Impact Wrench
The Makita 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Brushless High Torque 1/2″ Square Drive Impact Wrench includes a 1/2” anvil with friction ring for increased productivity. The XWT08M/Z delivers a full 740 ft.-lbs. fastening torque and 1,180 ft.-lbs. breakaway torque.
XWT09T/Z: 18V 7/16” Hex Impact Drill
The Makita 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Brushless High Torque 7/16″ Hex Impact Drill (XWT09T/Z) delivers a full 590 ft.-lbs. drilling torque. The tool hook and hanging ring provide added convenience.
For improved tool performance and extended battery life, the new 18V LXT Brushless High Torque Impact Wrenches feature Star Protection Computer Controls. Star Protection is communication technology that allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions during use to protect against overloading, over-discharging and overheating. They can be powered by Makita 18V LXT and Compact Lithium-Ion batteries with the star symbol on the battery indicating Star Protection inside, including 18V Lithium-Ion 2.0Ah, 3.0Ah, 4.0Ah, and 5.0Ah batteries.
Each Makita Lithium-Ion power tool, battery and charger is warranted to be free of defects from workmanship and materials for the period of three years from the date of original purchase with exceptions.
