The Monroe Max-Lift line of direct original equipment replacement and universal lift supports from Tenneco has been expanded to include coverage of significantly greater shares of the North American passenger vehicle and specialty categories. Tenneco added more than 90 parts to the Max-Lift line in October and plans to introduce 75 additional SKUs in early 2015.

The gas-charged Max-Lift supports are engineered to replace the worn OE spring lifts used to raise trunk and hatchback lids, lift gates, rear glass panels and hoods. Tenneco also offers universal-fit supports for use on truck caps, large toolbox lids and other applications.

Max-Lift supports feature a high-pressure nitrogen gas charge, nitro-carburized rod for enhanced durability and a specially designed rod guide that helps reduce abrasion damage that could result in premature failure of some competing products.
