SKF Adds New, Streamlined VIN Lookup Tab To Help Customers Locate Parts In Online Automotive Catalog

SKF recently announced the addition of a "VIN Lookup" tab to help improve customers' ability to research automotive parts through its e-catalog. With the new enhancement, users can enter a VIN and the e-catalog will match the make, model and year information contained in the VIN and automatically provide a list of matching parts.

SKF recently announced the addition of a “VIN Lookup” tab to help improve customers’ ability to research automotive parts through its e-catalog. The SKF automotive e-catalog can be accessed at: http://www.SKFpartsinfo.com.

With the new enhancement, users can enter a VIN and the e-catalog will match the make, model and year information contained in the VIN and automatically provide a list of matching parts.

“This is an exciting new feature that will help make looking up parts much easier for our customers,” said Todd Miller, manager, Product and Catalog Data, SKF.

In addition, SKF has added numerous information sheets, brochures and tech tips to provide useful information about a wide array of part numbers. These can be found on the parts detail page under the "Documents" tab. In all, documents have been added to more than 11,000 SKUs, providing more than 77,000 documents-to-SKU relationships.

”The wealth of information now available to our customers supports SKF’s premium product offerings. With easy access to this information our customers can find answers to specific questions they have when installing SKF products on either their customers’ or their own vehicles,” Miller added.
