When the green flag drops at the Daytona 500 next month, kicking-off the 2008 NASCAR Nextel Sprint Cup season, six technicians from across the United States and Canada will be catching all the action in person — thanks to Raybestos brand brake parts (www.raybestos.com).

The six technicians were regional winners in the Raybestos One-Two-Three Foose Promotion, which gave technicians the opportunity to win prizes when they made qualifying purchases in one of three product categories: hydraulics, rotors and friction. Purchases made in each category also earned them entries into the Foose Sweepstakes for the grand prize — a custom designed Chip Foose Stallion. The winners are:

  • Todd Ford — Ford’s Garage, Spencerville, OH
  • Mark Carrithers — Beck Muffler, Franklin, IN
  • Guy Martin Shinn, Jr. — Tire Express, Carrollton, GA
  • Rick Hedberg — Coon Rapids Goodyear, Coon Rapids, MN
  • Perry Arrington — Jeffrey’s Auto, North Richland Hills, TX
  • Alain Langlois — A Performance, Quebec, Canada

The Daytona 500 prize package was part of the promotion’s friction category. Technicians received an entry ticket to win the trip for two to the race, including airfare, hotel, race tickets and all transfers; a remote-controlled car; and 10 entry tickets to win the grand prize — a custom designed Chip Foose car — by purchasing $600 worth of Raybestos brand brake pads.

Prize package winners for the hydraulic and rotor categories, plus awarding of the Chip Foose car, will be announced shortly. The promotion ran Aug. 1 through Oct. 31, 2007 and all entry forms and tally cards must have been received by Nov. 15, 2007.
