Tenneco Inc. has announced two promotions that will offer cash rewards to automotive service professionals and jobber counterpeople who sell Monroe Brakes brake pads now through October 31, 2011.

The Monroe Brakes “Stopping Power Rewards” promotion – available for automotive service shop owners, service writers and technicians – offers participants $25 in cash for every 10 sets of Monroe Ceramics and/or Monroe Dynamics brake pads sold during the program period.

Tenneco also is offering the Monroe Brakes “Stopping Power Benefits” promotion, which offers $50 in cash, up to a maximum of $500 per participant, to jobber counterpeople for every 50 sets of Monroe brake pads sold now through October 31.

To create added opportunity for trade professionals, Tenneco also is offering consumers a “Stopping Power” mail-in rebate of up to $40 for qualifying Monroe brake pad purchases between Sept. 1 and Oct. 31, 2011.

As “The Total Solution!” in brake pads, Monroe Ceramics ceramic-formula and Monroe Dynamics semi-metallic brake pads are packaged complete with hardware kits, sensors and lube (most applications). Each Monroe brake pad or shoe features a highly advanced friction formulation and component design based on the original equipment technology for each vehicle model. This OE-focused engineering approach helps shops reduce brake service comebacks related to noise, pedal feel, pad life and other potential issues.
