Service Shops Can Cash in on Valuable Rewards through New Monroe Brake Promotion

Automotive service businesses and technicians can earn retailer gift cards valued at up to $75 each by installing Monroe premium brake pads during the 11-month "Braking Rewards!" promotion from Tenneco Inc.

Automotive service businesses and technicians can earn retailer gift cards valued at up to $75 each by installing Monroe premium brake pads during the 11-month “Braking Rewards!” promotion from Tenneco Inc.

From Dec. 1, 2006, through Oct. 31, 2007, participating service professionals can earn gift cards of up to $75 – redeemable at Best Buy, Circuit City, Costco, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Starbucks, Target or Wal-Mart/SAM’S CLUB – through sales of premium Monroe Ceramics and Monroe Dynamics brake pads. For every 12 sets of qualifying Monroe pads installed, the participating installer/technician will earn a $25 gift card. In addition to retailer cards, members of the Tenneco Expert Plus program can earn 2,000 promotional bonus points through the “Braking Rewards!” promotion. Contact your local Tenneco/Monroe representative for complete details on the “Braking Rewards!” promotion.

“This innovative promotion puts the industry’s total braking solution – plus valuable rewards – into the hands of automotive service professionals,” said Sheryl Bomia, North American Aftermarket program manager, Tenneco. “Repair shops can now rely on Monroe brake pads, not only for exceptional stopping performance and reduced comebacks, but also for great sales incentives.”

Monroe brakes offers two complete brake pad offerings – Monroe Ceramics and Monroe Dynamics. These products are shipped complete with all the hardware required for installation, including noise elimination clips and electronic wear sensors, where applicable.

Monroe Ceramics brake pads feature true ceramic friction formulations – rather than the ceramic friction blends offered by some other manufacturers – to help ensure cooler, cleaner and quieter stopping.

Monroe also offers Monroe Dynamics brake pads; a design that combines the benefits of OE-preferred constant pressure positive molding technology with a variety of aftermarket engineering enhancements. Monroe Dynamics pads help ensure exceptional stopping power without the same degree of noise, wear and dust associated with many competing pads.

Monroe brakes are manufactured and marketed by Tenneco Inc., a leading global supplier of ride control, emission control, and noise, vibration and harshness control products for the original equipment and replacement markets.
