Jasper Engines & Transmissions announces the release of the Aisin AS68RC automatic transmission. The available applications for this six-speed transmission include: Mid 2007-2010 Dodge, Ram 3500-5500 Cab-Chassis mounted behind the 6.7L Cummins Diesel engine.

Jasper, Indiana, Remanufacturing Facility Earns VPP Star Safety Certification
The Indiana Department of Labor has announced the Star Certification of Jasper Engines and Transmissions’ Jasper, IN, remanufacturing facility in Indiana’s Voluntary Protection Program (VPP). A ceremony, held April 12th at the Jasper facility, provided an opportunity for Associates, staff and management to showcase their exemplary safety status to state elected and labor officials.
JASPER Takes Valve Seat Concentricity Very Seriously
JASPER is moving toward seat and guide machines with a “dead pilot” design that remains stationary in the guide as the cutting head rotates around it. This design will replace machines with a “live pilot” setup that spins with the cutting head in the guide.
JASPER Uses Automated Data Acquisition in Gas Engine Live-Run Testing
Jasper Engines & Transmissions has incorporated automated data acquisition into its gas engine live-run testing program. The test stands at the Jasper, IN, facility are being fitted with computers running a JASPER-written automated test program (using software from National Instruments).
JASPER Holds ESOP Shareholders Meeting, Zach Bawel Named President/COO
Jasper Engines & Transmissions held an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Shareholders meeting July 7th. It was the first such meeting held since the company announced its ESOP plan in March 2010. It was announced that the Jasper Engines & Transmissions Board of Directors has reorganized by naming Zach Bawel as President and Chief Operating Officer (COO).
