For Kyle Busch there’s no place like home. Although an engine change at Friday’s practice forced Busch to start the Shelby 427 near the back of the pack on Sunday, Busch wasn’t going to be foiled in Sin City. As the racecars circled the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the Las Vegas native skillfully navigated the Joe Gibbs Racing No. 18 M&M’s Toyota through field before passing Clint Bowyer with 17 laps to go. From there Busch never looked back.

It was the first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victory of the season for the No. 18 M&M’s Toyota, which runs the complete Raybestos brand racing brakes package – including racing calipers, rotors and high-friction race pads. Every Joe Gibbs Racing Sprint Cup car is equipped with both Raybestos brand brake systems and Raybestos Advanced Technology Chassis parts.

“Once again the Raybestos brake system performed beautifully all afternoon,” said Jimmy Makar, senior vice president of Joe Gibbs Racing. “Both the Raybestos brake and chassis components are proving their dependability week after week.”

This was the 13th victory for Busch in 153 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races. It was also a record-setting afternoon for Busch’s JGR teammate – and Raybestos Rookie of the Year candidate – Joey Logano. The 18-year-old earned a career-best NASCAR Sprint Cup finish by driving the No. 20 Home Depot Toyota to a 13th-place finish.
