Quaker State Joins Forces with ‘Superman Returns’

With a case purchase of Q or Quaker State motor oil or a Q or Quaker State motor oil change, consumers will be offered up to two “Hollywood Movie Money” tickets back by mail that can be exchanged for free movie tickets (valued up to $12.00 each) at theaters nationwide.

The makers of Quaker State will team with Superman Returns, one of the most anticipated movies for the summer of 2006. This free movie ticket promotional campaign scheduled for June 1 – July 31 is designed to promote Quaker State’s line of power-maximizing Q motor oil and the new Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures motion picture, in theatres June 30.

“Quaker State is very excited to be a part of what should be one of the biggest movies of 2006,” said Troy Chapman, director of Quaker State marketing. “Our message of ‘power and performance’ for Q motor oil is an excellent match for the Man of Steel in Superman Returns.”

The promotional campaign will include television, print, in-store and online support. Superman Returns promotional tags will be featured within Q motor oil television and print advertising during the promotion time frame.
