PPG Refinish has launched a new website, ppgrefinish.com, which went live Dec. 5 and contains an array of new content, organizational and product information enhancements to help paint and collision center professionals find the products, tools and ideas vital to their success.

Incorporating access to PPG’s Automotive Refinish and Commercial Coatings divisions, the new website features simpler and faster navigation, enhanced connectivity from mobile devices, redesigned product catalogs and easier access to PPG online features.

“Our new website provides a richer and more satisfying user experience,” said Greg DeCamp, general manager of sales and marketing, PPG Refinish, United States and Canada. “We based our redesign on input from our customers as well as our brand managers, trainers, IT people and other key sources. We wanted to make sure we provided the information customers required in as easy and comprehensive a manner as possible. I believe our customers will find exactly that. This new, user-friendly website is part of PPG’s vision to lead the automotive refinish and coatings products industry. Through innovation, sustainability and advanced color solutions, we’re helping our customers do their jobs better and make their businesses more successful.”

While the website has been totally revamped, certain changes stand out. The site can now be accessed more easily through mobile devices with PPG’s platform architecture, which provides better connectivity for Web-enabled tablets and smartphones.

The website also offers more intuitive navigation. While longtime site users will find the main menu bar familiar, the entire navigation process has been streamlined to reach site destinations faster.

The Automotive Refinish and Commercial Coatings catalogs have been reorganized and require fewer clicks to retrieve tech information, MSDS sheets, associated color tools, info and VOCs. The FAQs section, also on the main menu, serves as a one-stop resource for answers about PPG products and programs.

The website also provides live links to social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.
