Philips Automotive Lighting North America, a division of Royal Philips Electronics, has introduced the new Philips MotoVision high performance halogen headlamp bulb, a breakthrough in lighting safety for all types of two-wheeled motor vehicles. Designed to deliver special lighting performance for motorcycles, the Philips MotoVision produces a unique orange and white light effect that increases the vehicle’s overall visibility and helps differentiate it from the general road traffic.

According to Michael Scheiven, director, Aftermarket Channel, “In addition to increasing the rider’s overall visibility, the Philips MotoVision also delivers 40% more light and a beam up to 50 feet longer than standard bulbs, which greatly enhances the rider’s forward vision.

Philips MotoVision headlamp bulbs are street legal and DOT compliant. They are available in H4 (9003) and H7 models, offering coverage for virtually every type of motorcycle and two-wheeled motor vehicle in North America.

Philips Automotive Lighting, a world leader in automotive lighting technology and inventor of the halogen bulb and Xenon HID lighting, produces a full range of DOT compliant lighting for replacements and upgrades. In addition to MotoVision, Philips upgrade bulbs include Philips X-treme Power – the brightest halogen available, delivering up to 80% more light than a standard bulb; Philips NightGuide maximum safety halogens with tri-color beam technology; and Philips CrystalVision Ultra – Xenon powered halogens that provide the bright white look of HID.
