Philips Automotive Commercial Lighting Program Creates Added Profitability For Technicians

PhillipsPhilips Automotive North America, a division of Royal Philips, now offers a commercial lighting program for WDs, designed to provides a one-stop source for both commercial and retail packaged lighting products, as well as point of sale tools to help service locations and retailers capture more sales for lighting products.

The Philips Commercial Lighting portfolio includes a complete offering of standard OE replacement lighting including a full range of headlight bulbs, halogen and incandescent sealed beam headlamps, and miniature bulbs for both interior and exterior vehicle applications. In addition, the program gives installers access to Philips’ line of upgrade headlighting, along with sales tools designed to help up-sell consumers to better lighting performance.

Philips backs up the lighting portfolio with point of sale tools that include commercial cabinets and headlight upgrade cabinets that technicians can use to stock and sell standard replacement and upgrade lighting to their DIFM customers. The commercial program also includes a countertop headlighting display that retailers and service locations can customize with their own mix of upgrade headlight bulbs.
