Auto Care Internship Scholarship Winners Announced
The Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association (AWDA) and the Auto Care Association have selected the recipients for the 2015 Auto Care Internship Scholarship. The 2013 Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance annual golf tournament raised more than $55,000 for the University of the Aftermarket Foundation. At the recommendation of the Alliance’s Channel Partner Advisory Council (CPAC), the 2013 golf tournament at the Turnberry Isle in Aventura, Fla., was dedicated to the memory of Walter Spence and to raising funds to support the Foundation.

The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance has announced that its annual golf tournament has an added special significance for 2013. Earlier this year, the Alliance Board of Directors donated $100,000 to the University of the Aftermarket Foundation to honor the memory of Walter Spence Jr. The Alliance’s Channel Partner Advisory Council (CPAC) also has recommended the 2013 golf tournament at the Turnberry Isle in Aventura, Fla., be dedicated to Mr. Spence, in addition to helping raise funds to support the University of the Aftermarket Foundation.

Roush Fenway Strikes Gold on the Track While Going Green Under the Hood
With 31 championships and more than 400 races under their belt, Roush Fenway Racing is no stranger to performing on the track. On Monday, February 27th, Matt Kenseth scored another milestone for the iconic race team with his win at the Daytona 500. The victory signified not only the first Sprint Cup win of the season for Roush Fenway Racing and its 300th NASCAR victory, but also its first checkered flag since making the switch to Valvoline’s NextGen recycled motor oil technology, made with 50% recycled oil.
