Oliver Racing Parts Announces Sponsorship Of The 65th Annual Bonneville SpeedWeek

Oliver Racing Parts has announced that they will sponsor the 65th annual SpeedWeek at the world-famous Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah August 10-16, 2013.

Oliver Racing Parts has announced that they will sponsor the 65th annual SpeedWeek at the world-famous Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah August 10-16, 2013.

The sponsorship will bring a notable Oliver presence to the land-speed racing event, including the company’s logo embroidered on 2,500 hats that will be given to participants. Banners will also be placed at the inspection area, near the announcing tower and at the starting lines of all four courses.

“Our connecting rods are designed for high-performance applications and Bonneville SpeedWeek inspires hundreds of racers to push every bit of performance out of their engines,” said Joseph A. Moch, president and CEO of Oliver Racing Parts. “As we celebrate 30 years of business, it’s a natural fit for Oliver to be part of this history-making event.”

The event is hosted by the Southern California Timing Association (SCTA) and the Bonneville Nationals Inc. (BNI), attracting more than 500 racers from around the world to the area. In 2012, more than 3,000 vehicle runs were made attempting to break land-speed records and more than 12,000 spectators came to view the event.

Information on the Bonneville SpeedWeek can be found at www.scta-bni.org. A catalog containing Oliver’s line of connecting rods can be viewed at www.oliverracingparts.com.
